Family Services - Chilliwack

Various programs for families.
The following services are offered:
  • Family Support: Provides direct support to parents and families regarding access to resources, community networking, and behavioral intervention skills. Family Support Workers walk alongside families and parents to find resources and maximizing positive coping skills. Services include enhanced family visits and parenting programming workshops. Referrals through MCFD.
  • Young Family Program: Intensive outreach support for pregnant and parenting youth up to 22 years old. Connecting with community resources and access to nutrition and healthcare.
  • Family Law Advocate: Assistance navigating the family legal system for those going through divorce, separation, parenting custody planning.
  • Outreach Family Therapy: Our OFT program works with MCFD to provide short-term clinical intervention and support to families struggling with communication, parenting, healing from trauma, and other mental health issues. This program is referral-only from MCFD and Aboriginal Children and Family Services Society in Fraser Valley (FVACFSS).
