A supportive, confidential, and caring group connecting with each other in mutual support. For individuals caring for a child or young person up to age 25 who is struggling with mental health or substance use issues.
Caring for a child or young person up to age 25 who is experiencing mental health or substance use challenges? The Take Break support group offers parents and caregivers an opportunity to connect with others, share experiences, and develop or strengthen supportive skills.
Participants will find a supportive, confidential and caring group connecting with each other in mutual support. Topics of discussion include:
- Mental health issues
- Substance use
- Strategies for wellness
- Boundary setting
- Communication skills
The Take a Break support group meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
